2015 Cadillac ATS sedan, caught completely undisguised.
from Cadillac has had a few years to really dial in the ATS Sedan.
The Cadillac ATS coupe : putting the pedal to the metal, it was born to go. See the future of luxury coupes today.
On a smaller scale is the ATS, the Cadillac brand’s entry-level luxury
sedan that has the unenviable role of facing rivals like the BMW
3-Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and Lexus ES, amongst many others.
Cadillac has been down this 'small lux-laden sedan' road before, with
limited success.
Yet the ATS has been a breath of fresh air, thanks to its crisp
exterior design, strong range of engines, and blend of luxury and value.
It’s hard to believe that, not too long ago, Cadillac was considered
the stodgy and traditional choice amongst luxury automakers. Now, the
American brand suddenly stands out amongst a sea of German and Japanese
alternatives – and it’s all the better for it.
For the 2015 model year, Cadillac has removed the rear doors and
created the ATS Coupe. Available with a choice of 272-horsepower
turbocharged inline-4, or 321-hp 3.6-liter V-6, the powertrain lineup
will be a familiar sight to anyone accustomed to the ATS sedan.

Of course, that means you also have a choice of shifting for yourself
with a 6-speed manual transmission, though only when you choose the
turbo 4-cylinder model. All-wheel-drive is optional across the engine
range, though the models I drove sent their power strictly to the rear
wheels.
I spent the vast majority of my driving day in the most powerful ATS
Coupe, equipped with the 3.6-liter engine and 6-speed automatic gearbox.
My test car was pretty light on the options – a Cold Weather Package
($600) added heated front seats and a heated steering wheel – but still
stickered at a hefty $52,615 (including $995 destination charge).
